Hello Fresh – Vegetarian Plan
Hello Fresh’s Vegetarian plan offers a delicious variety of creative and wholesome vegetarian recipes filled with seasonal vegetables, whole grains, cheeses and animal-free proteins.
At the time of writing (March 2021) there are 5 recipes tagged vegetarian. Recipes are creative and wholesome and change weekly. You can easily personalise your plan size for 2 or 4 people and select the number of recipes 3, 4, 5 each week. Meals can be further customised based on individual dietary requirements – Naturally gluten-free and calorie smart (<650 calories).
All meals at Hello Fresh are dietitian-approved and aim to follow a balanced style meal structure. Most ingredients are fresh yet the limited range of options – of just 5 meals per week may not suit everyone’s tastes and dietary preferences.
Some of the meals are larger than normal in portion sizes which means they may be calorie-dense and products have a very extensive list of ingredients. There is less waste when it comes to food preparation and is a great way to meal plan and follow or transition to a relatively healthy style of vegetarian eating.
TIP: If you’re trying to be conscious of your calorie intake try swapping rich and heavy sauces and dressings to using simple pantry staples like olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon.
