QuiteLike’s updated website is fantastic – it’s interactive, colourful and exciting, just like their recipes. They have now made it even easier to select your plan and recipes, with great discounts off your first box.
New Menu (July 2024)
QuiteLike has updated their menu with exciting new gourmet recipes to choose from. Each week you can choose from 30 recipes with a new category of recipes that can be cooked in 30 minutes. With most of their meals taking at least 45 minutes to prepare, this new addition of ‘fast’ recipes is great for those looking for convenience. QuiteLike have also introduced a filter function on their menu, allowing you to filter the recipes by protein, cooking time and dietary requirement including vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and meat free. This was something I wanted to see added to QuiteLike’s menu and now makes finding the right recipes for you, even easier.
You can select from 2 or 4 servings and 2, 3 or 4 recipes per week. I previously noted that more servings and recipes (5+) would be great to see to provide more options for large families. This is something competitor Marley Spoon does well, offering up to 6 recipes per week. QuiteLike has also added the option to make your box vegetarian which is a great new feature.
As mentioned, you can now filter the menu by protein, cooking time and dietary requirements. Unfortunately, you are still unable to customise individual recipes by adding or omitting ingredients, however each recipe clearly outlines the ingredients and allergens so you can decide which recipe is best for you. Competitors Marley Spoon and Hello Fresh have more recipes to choose from, offering 50+ recipes each week, along with better customisation. If you are looking for more variety, I would recommend these services over QuiteLike.
Last time I used QuiteLike there were 6 vegetarian and pescatarian options for me to choose from. Their updated menu at the time of this review (July 2024) provided 4 vegetarian options and 5 pescatarian options which is an improvement upon last time. Each recipe looked delicious! I could have chosen every option on the menu, from burgers to curries, Italian to Japanese cuisines, QuiteLike’s menu is sure to have something for any food lover.
Flybuys Rewards:
QuiteLike has now partnered with Flybuys so you can be rewarded. Every $1 you spend with QuiteLike scores you 1 Flybuys point.
Recipe Card Tips & Facts:
QuiteLike’s recipe cards were a standout feature from my first review, however now the recipes cards have been levelled up to include tips and tricks on cooking techniques, suggestions for leftovers and nutrition facts. I love the addition of these tips and facts as it makes the cooking process even more enjoyable and helpful.
Sustainability:
I noted in my first review that the packaging was recyclable, however there was no information online about QuiteLike’s sustainability practices. Now, QuiteLike has a page on their website dedicated to sustainability. Their boxes are 100% recyclable and made from approximately 52% recycled cardboard content. They also have new 100% recyclable thermal pouches to keep chill the fridge items. QuiteLike also donates any leftovers to SecondBite, helping to fight hunger in Australia.
