Finding gluten-free meals that you can be confident are 100% gluten-free, yet still nutritionally sound, can be challenging. I tried Garden of Goodness’s range of ready-made meals to see if their meals passed the test.

Garden of Goodness (formally Garden of Vegan) provides 100% vegan, gluten-free, oil free meals made with 100% certified organic ingredients. Their meals are free from preservatives, additives, refined sugars, setting them apart from other meal providers.

Of the meals I tried, including Butter Tofu Makhni and Satay Tofu Stirfry, I found the protein content to be excellent, featuring quality sources like tempeh, lentils, and chickpeas, in adequate amounts. Whilst the meals are gluten-free, Garden of Goodness priortises whole food sources of complex carbohydrates such as brown rice and sweet potato. Some of the meals did however contain smaller portions of vegetables. The meals tasted fantastic, with authentic flavours.

Garden of Goodness is positioned as a premium meal service with meals starting at $15.95, reflecting the high quality of its ingredients and preparation methods. While the meals are nutrient-dense and flavourful, the cost per serving may be prohibitive for some individuals, especially those seeking budget-friendly options. I highly recommend Garden of Goodness for health-conscious consumers prioritising plant-based, gluten-free nutrition. However, it is important to consider whether the investment aligns with your personal budget.
