Product Description
My Foodie Box is a WA based meal kit company focusing on sustainability and high-quality ingredients to provide consumers with all they need to make a healthy fresh meal at home – fuss-free!
My Foodie Box claims to make home cooking easy with their delicious rotating menu catering to several dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free choices. Each meal outlines to consumers any dietary considerations including minutes to prepare and skill level to cook! Ingredients are locally sourced in WA steering away from preservative and hormone-free meats and opting for sustainably sourced seafood from suppliers they trust.
My Foodie Box is all about reducing their environmental footprint and a focus for them is ensuring meals arrive fresh and safely in environmentally responsible packaging. They only use packaging that is compostable, recyclable and reusable and they will collect the used box upon delivering customers’ new boxes.
At the time of writing this (Feb 2022) My Foodie Box offers a ‘classic box’ feeding 2-people or 4-people supplying 3, 4 or 5 meals a week starting from $ 12.49 per portion, a ‘family box’ feeding 4-people supplying 3, 4 or 5 meals a week starting from $ 10.00 per portion, a ‘vegan box’ 2-people or 4-people supplying 3 or 4 meals a week starting from $ 11.49 per portion and a ‘mystery box’ feeding 2-people or 4-people supplying 4 or 5 meals a week starting from $ 12.49 per portion.
Nutrition Rundown
My Foodie Box meals are centred around providing consumers with freshly and locally sourced ingredients whilst promoting sustainable eating practices. Ingredients are high-quality ingredients and there is plenty of variety throughout their menu creating more options for consumers. Consumers can also filter their menu based on dietary requirements and select meals based on their protein preferences including vegan options.
The menu is updated regularly based on seasonality to keep things fresh and each recipe contains a quality source of protein, a serving of fresh vegetables and a carbohydrate source such as whole grains, potatoes, rice etc.
TIP: If you’re looking to add more flavour to meals without adding extra calories add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime or some herbs and spices! These can often elevate meals with natural punchy flavours.
