HelloFresh announces their new arrangement involving Youfoodz, the popular meal delivery service. HelloFresh ANZ CEO Tom Rutledge believes the arrangement to partner with Youfoodz is a step in the right direction for the company and having Youfoodz founder and CEO Lance Giles steer and operate the brand as they link up is a forward-thinking move for the growth of HelloFresh.

Publisher Food & Business expanded that the lucrative deal is fuelled to grow their global name and establish a larger presence in the Direct to Consumer (D2C) space providing new menu offerings, customer initiatives and more service levels.

And what better timing then to lean into the surge of consumer demand for meal delivery services during COVID-19, with consumers spending more time at home ironically many are finding more tantalised by the accessibility and perhaps the thrill of a food delivery service arriving on their doorsteps.

So, what can you expect from the HelloFresh and Youfoodz hybrid?

Well, you can expect HelloFresh to slide into the ready-made meal service platform in confidence, providing their consumers with another level of convenience to their mealtimes.

As meal delivery services have grown during COVID-19 this could be the perfect timing for HelloFresh to team up with the household favourite Youfoodz, providing consumers with the perfect pairing of meal kits and ready-made meals for those busy days that a meal-kit just doesn’t work.

At this moment there still is a lot to watch and wait for, we will have to patiently wait to see what the two companies cook up together!
