Marley Spoon Meal Kit – 2 person
Marley Spoon is all about convenience and inspiring people to cook recipes from scratch in 6 easy steps. They focus on locally sourced, pre-portioned ingredients for zero food waste. Marley Spoon offers two plans: 2 person and 4 person. For each plan, you can choose from 2, 3, 4, 5 meals per week.
At the time of writing (June 2021), you can choose between 27+ recipes in the Marley Spoon Meal Kit for 2 people. Recipes are updated each week. Marley Spoon considers dietary/lifestyle requirements including vegan, low calorie, healthy, fast, vegetarian, no-added gluten, dairy-free and family-friendly. The weekly box is easily customisable to individual dietary preferences and both boxes can be strictly vegetarian.
The nutritionist-approved and chef-designed menu have a variety of options for all tastes and lifestyles. Recipes consider ‘healthy’ eating requirements such as low-calorie (250-550 calories/per serve), reduced-carb (less than 25g of carbs/per service) and meals are balanced – high fibre, low GI and include lean proteins. Marley Spoon offers a large variety of recipes to choose from each week and is great for creative cooking and for people with dietary restrictions. The meal portions are standard and for some on the larger size however some lack an adequate portion of vegetables. We would advise adding a portion of leafy or steamed greens when selecting the higher calorie/carbohydrate-heavy meals.
